A co-educational Higher Secondary Institution in Manipur, HRD Academy is known for its academic discipline, modern infrastructure, and consistent performance in the Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
With over 30 years of experience in science education, HRD Academy continues to evolve. From the academic session 2026–2027, the Academy expands its journey with the introduction of its Primary Section, offering Nursery, L-KG, and U-KG in a safe and nurturing environment.
Supported by smart classrooms, child-friendly learning spaces, and fully-equipped science and computer laboratories, HRD Academy offers a complete educational pathway from early learning to higher secondary education.

HRD Academy’s Primary Section provides a nurturing and child-friendly environment for early learners, guided by play-based and experiential learning in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020.

Facilities

Transport
The school has a fleet of van to transport students from their homes from around Imphal and its periphery to school and back to their homes. School Students living in a close proximity of the school are exempted from using the school transport service.
Canteen
The structure of the Canteen itself is off beat. Instead of the usual desk bench style, the students enjoy their snacks during the recess in a cordial atmosphere sitting around running concrete and colored seats. The two wings – ‘The Boys’ and ‘The Girls’ are separated yet close to one another.
Library
A modern and appropriately staffed library is located in the academic complex. The growing collection of books and periodical subscriptions at our library help maintain the child's interest in supplementary knowledge and reference work. The HRD Academy library has all what it takes to be a top notch.
Hostel
In order to accommodate students from far flung areas the Academy runs hostels both for girls and boys. A selection is made for accommodation on the basis of marks and distance from Imphal. Personality development and career counseling program are best utilized by our boarders.
